"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
About Unchained
Who We Are
Founded in 2021, Unchained Ministry is a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families affected by addiction find hope, support, and a path toward lasting freedom.
We were established after seeing a need in our community for people leaving active addiction who simply needed someone willing to walk beside them. Treatment is an important part of recovery, but the journey does not end when treatment does. Many people return home without the resources, accountability, encouragement, or practical support they need to rebuild their lives.
Unchained exists to help bridge that gap through faith, recovery education, mentorship, practical assistance, and long-term support.
Why We Exist
Addiction does not affect just one person. It can impact families, relationships, homes, jobs, and entire communities.
We believe people need more than a place to go for treatment. They need someone who will continue walking with them when they come home. They may need food, clothing, transportation, help with a utility bill, a connection to treatment, or simply someone who will listen and remind them that their life is worth rebuilding.
Unchained Ministry exists to help meet those needs and restore hope.
Through the generosity of our community and our annual fundraising efforts, we have been able to provide meals, groceries, transportation, gas cards, medications, utility assistance, treatment placements, furniture, and other practical necessities.
We believe that sometimes helping someone change their life starts by simply helping them through today.
What We Do
Help When It Matters Most
We walk alongside individuals who are ready to take the first step toward freedom from addiction. Through encouragement, mentorship, and ongoing support, we help people know that they do not have to face the journey alone.
Basic Needs
Recovery can be difficult when basic needs are not being met. We provide practical assistance when resources are available, including food, clothing, transportation, furniture, utility assistance, and other necessities that can help someone move forward.
Recovery Connections
We help individuals connect with detoxification, rehabilitation, recovery programs, mentors, and supportive communities. Our goal is to help people find the resources they need and continue receiving support beyond treatment.
A New Beginning
Recovery is about more than stopping addiction. It is about rebuilding a life. We encourage and support individuals as they work toward healthy relationships, stable homes, productive lives, and lasting freedom from addiction.
There Is Hope
At the heart of Unchained Ministry is our faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe that no person is beyond redemption and that addiction does not have to be the end of someone’s story. True freedom is found in Christ, and we want every person we serve to know that there is hope for a new life.
Our ministry is faith-based, but our services are available to anyone seeking freedom from addiction, regardless of religious background, race, gender, or economic status.
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
John 8:36
You Don't Have to Walk This Road Alone
Whether you are struggling with addiction, helping a loved one, or simply do not know where to turn, you do not have to face this journey alone.
There is help. There is hope. And there can be a new beginning.
